Wilderness Guide
Guides should enjoy working outdoors, possess an enthusiasm for fishing and the Alaskan wilderness, and be comfortable interacting with guests. Guides captain a twenty-foot skiff (sometimes in inclement weather), share knowledge of the Alaskan wilderness, and teach fishing skills to excursion participants. Guides are directly responsible for guests' safety in and around the skiff. A USCG 6 pac license is required for this position; additional training is provided.

Tour Coordinator
The tour coordinator has primary contact with guests and cruise line staff, and therefore must be friendly, outgoing, and professional. Good organizational skills are required to dispatch tours, oversee ticket collection, maintain gear, and manage an assistant. Coordinators must be able to solve problems quickly while remaining calm. Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software, as well as basic inventory management, minimal bookkeeping, and data entry skills. Training on company programs is provided.

Camp Cook
The camp cook creates a welcoming atmosphere at our wilderness campsites and serves our guests a simple yet gourmet meal featuring fresh Alaskan seafood. Cooking for up to 60 people a day requires organizational skills, physical strength, cleanliness, and basic inventory controls. Must be comfortable interacting with guests and demonstrate a personal enthusiasm for outdoor cooking and dining. Willingness to learn to operate a skiff is a plus.

Camp Jack
This position requires an individual in good physical condition who enjoys working outdoors in remote locations, even in the inclement weather of southeast Alaska. The camp jack must possess the physical strength necessary to split and stack firewood, as well as the ability to operate a skiff in inland waters for transporting equipment and staff. Also requires organizational skills to manage camp logistics and oversee groups of up to 25 guests. Good social skills are a definite plus and will be put to use entertaining guests at camp.
